Who we are
Really Quite Something Ltd ("Really Quite", "we") is a digital products studio registered in the United Kingdom at 40 Leicester Road, Lewes, East Sussex, BN7 1SX. This policy covers our website at reallyquite.com and, where noted, the apps and websites we build and operate. If you have any questions about it, or about any data we hold, email us at [email protected].
We take your privacy seriously and keep things simple: we don't ask for personal information unless we genuinely need it, we never sell it, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers described below or where the law requires.
What we collect on this website
- Usage statistics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, your browser type, and your IP address. We use this only in aggregate, to see how the site is doing.
- Email updates. If you sign up to hear from us, we store your email address (and name, if you give it) with our email service provider, Sender. We only send you what you signed up for, and every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
- Correspondence. If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and our ongoing relationship with you.
- Fonts. Our web fonts are served by Adobe Fonts, which means your browser makes a technical request (including your IP address) to Adobe's servers when the page loads.
Our apps and client projects
We build apps and websites for our clients, and in doing so we sometimes act as a data processor, storing data on their behalf. If your query relates to data held in a client's app or website, we may need to pass your request to them as the data controller, but we will always help you get an answer.
For apps we publish ourselves: Apple (for iOS) and Google (for Android) also record data about your usage of the app, including analytics and any data related to purchases. If you opt in to push notifications from one of our apps, we store your device ID so we can send them; you can turn these off in your device settings at any time.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected: subscriber details until you unsubscribe or we retire the list, and correspondence for as long as our relationship with you makes it useful. When it's no longer needed, we delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted entirely. Just email [email protected] and we'll sort it out. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; most changes will be minor. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version will always live at this address.
